went Overseas in November 1914, returning on Oct. 31. 1919. During that time he spent three years fighting
in France, in the Artillery, as dispatch and transport rider. Later he was promoted to the Air-force, under Major Bishop, from which he was discharged when the war was over, the proud holder of a 1st class certificate.
