Notes

Brother of Ovila and Dalvida Roy of Montreal, Québec. Both brothers also served with the Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment). Private Ovila Roy was killed in action on August 8, 1918.

There is a discrepancy between LAC and CVWM. Attestation and records list place of birth in Montreal with no reference to Valleyfield. CVWM lists Valleyfield and Son of Moïse Roy and Marguerite Primeau, neither in LAC records.
