One of the forms written by the mother says that the family came from "Early" Yorkshire. The nearest reference I could find is Earby, which is close to Skipton, but in Lancashire.
Was receiving $26/month from her son's service which stopped when he was killed. The mother was trying to bring up 6 children, 1 female working, probably at the Montreal Cottons, and 5 below the working age. He husband was also overseas probably contributing an amount similar to $26/month to the family.
