South West Quebec

This is a list of men and women from South-West Quebec, an area roughly defined as that covered by the Chateauguay Valley Regional School, including the areas around Ormstown, Huntingdon, Howick, Hemmingford and Valleyfield.

The names of the men that appear on this list were compiled from the war memorials Huntingdon, Ormstown, Riverfield and Valleyfield, information from Libraries and Archives Canada, the Canadian Virtual War Memorial, names published in newspapers such as the Huntingdon Gleaner, and studies of attestation papers.

The Canadian Government has published the service records of most men from the First World War and those that died during the Second World War, so those records are the most complete.

Please note that this is a continuing project, and records added or updated periodically.
