Service Biography

Ovide Leduc was born in Valleyfield, Quebec, on 25 July 1895. A resident of Montreal, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force at Montreal on 8 May 1918. He served in Canada as a Private with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. During his short period of service he was hospitalized in Montreal for migraine. Leduc was discharged at Montreal on 5 September 1918 as medically unfit after 117 days of service.
