The hospital-history sheet reconciles the principal illness episode as 2 Oct–11 Nov 1918 at No. XI Canadian General Hospital, Moore Barracks, Shorncliffe, for influenza complicated by bronchopneumonia, followed by convalescence at the Military Convalescent Hospital, Epsom, from 11–27 Nov 1918.
