SIR ARTHUR CURRIE'S FUNERAL

OTTAWA, DEC. 3

The arrangements for General Sir Arthur Currie's funeral on Tuesday are now complete, and the body will be transferred to Christchurch Cathedral tonight. There was a memorial service here, today under the auspices of the local branch of the Canadian Legion, which was attended by Mr. Bennett (the Prime Minister), Sir Robert Borden, and other prominent figures.

Messages of sympathy have been received by the family from their Majesties, from the Viceroy of India and Lady Willingdon, from Lord and Lady Byng of Vimy, from the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, from Mr. Thomas, and from various foreign Governments.
